Owned and operated by Stan and Regina Gutshall, Hawthorne Creek Homes has over 50 years of collaborative experience in new home construction and neighborhood development. Not initially from the Mid-West, through their travels Stan and Regina fell in love with the area and people here in Southwest Missouri back in 2007. Since that time they have been working toward bringing their talents, skills and quality homebuilding company to the area.  Looking to incorporate all the values they learned growing up in a family tradition they look forward to being your new homebuilder and welcoming you into the Hawthorne Creek Homes family.

Starting back in 1908, Stan’s grandfather was employed as a master carpenter where he utilized his skills as a homebuilding framer and finish carpenter.  During Stan’s school years his grandfather taught him the trade of carpentry and he filled the next decade of summers with lessons in framing and carpentry, along with patience, respect for elders and humility.

Learning his craft in the days when they “built homes and not just houses” has shaped Stan’s entire business and frame of mind. Homes are where dreams are hatched, memories are forged and where a certain sound or smell like cut grass takes you back to the sweetest times. Neighborhoods were where neighbors knew each other by a first name and were always willing to lend a helping hand.  Homes are where the family would gather on front porches, outdoor courtyards or back yards in the evenings and weekends to spend time with one another.  These family themed, cozy home ideals are what pave the way for Hawthorne Creek Homes; where family is priority.

Stan’s other half, Regina, has spent the last 20 years designing and developing neighborhoods as a project coordinator for some of the top engineering firms in the country.  It is Stan and Regina’s goal to bring back the old charm of warm homes in friendly neighborhoods with the modern conveniences of today’s lifestyle.

New for 2014! Updated floor plans and architectural designs will be revealed during the Home Builders Associations, Parade of Homes, June 20-22 and June 27-29. The parade home will act as the new model home and will feature a design room to make creating your dream home even more convenient than before.

Hawthorne Creek Homes offers the only furnished model home in the Springfield, MO area. You can experience their unique designs and quality construction that make them, the best value in new construction available.
